With a background in fashion styling, textiles and creative direction, my approach to interior design is rooted in a love of colour, texture, pattern and individuality. Having now worked as an interior designer for over ten years, I bring together my creative experience and passion for beautiful, considered interiors to create distinctive homes that feel personal, timeless and full of character.

After studying Fashion and Constructed Textiles at degree level, I enjoyed a successful career as a fashion stylist, working for leading style magazines including The Face and i-D, as well as across the music and advertising industries. My work included creating distinctive and often groundbreaking looks for musicians and bands, alongside high-profile print campaigns for brands including Levi's, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Max Factor and Revlon, and artists such as Garbage and Goldie.

I later retrained as an interior designer, graduating with a diploma from KLC School of Design. My fashion and textile background continues to have a strong influence on the way I approach interiors. I love layering beautiful fabrics, carefully considered colours and contrasting textures, bringing these together with statement furniture, artwork and unique decorative pieces to create spaces with depth, warmth and personality.

Over the past ten years, I have worked on a variety of residential projects, with a particular interest in period properties and listed buildings. I enjoy finding the balance between respecting a property's original architecture and introducing a more contemporary feel. Whether working with historic features, rethinking a layout or bringing together old and new furnishings, my aim is always to create interiors that feel sympathetic to the building while reflecting the people who live there.

Sustainability is also an important part of my design philosophy. Wherever possible, I look for thoughtful, more environmentally conscious solutions, incorporating existing pieces, sourcing unique antiques and giving furniture and materials a new lease of life. I believe that mixing old and new creates interiors that feel more individual and enduring, rather than following passing trends.

For me, good interior design is about creating a home that tells a story. I love combining unexpected details, beautiful materials and carefully chosen pieces to create interiors that are both practical and inviting, while having a strong sense of identity. Every project is different, and I enjoy working closely with clients to understand how they live and what matters to them, translating their ideas and aspirations into a home that feels entirely their own.
