MODERN OAK KITCHEN
I loved the challenge of reimagining this old building. By joining two separate rooms with a steel beam, I was able to completely transform the flow of the space.
What used to be the kitchen is now a generous banquette seating area—somewhere to gather, slow down, and really enjoy the room. The new kitchen runs along one wall, anchored by a bespoke curved island I designed, finished with reeded oak paneling to add softness and texture.
I also designed the dining table to be custom-made to match, tying everything together and creating a real sense of cohesion across the space.
I was drawn to a palette of terracotta, oak, and soft pistachio green to create warmth and a sense of calm throughout. Every detail was about making the space feel inviting, lived-in, and effortlessly connected.
