SOUTHWOLD HOLIDAY HOME
For this project, my clients wanted their holiday home to capture the vibrant, playful spirit of Palm Springs—where they had recently visited. They gave me a single piece of fabric as a starting point, and from that, the entire scheme evolved.
I built the palette around a bright yolk yellow accent, bringing energy and warmth into the space. To balance it, I introduced warm cream walls and a soft, pale blue on a tongue-and-groove feature wall—creating a backdrop that feels fresh, calm, and full of personality.
In the kitchen, I leaned into that retro influence with a full redesign. Two-tone cabinetry in soft grey and deep blue adds contrast, while a bold brass Sputnik light becomes a real focal point—bringing that mid-century Palm Springs glamour into the heart of the home.
I then layered in playful artwork, texture, and colour throughout, making sure the space felt dynamic and expressive without losing its sense of cohesion.
The result is a home that feels joyful, vibrant, and completely transportive—a little piece of Palm Springs brought to life
